Reviews made me apprehensive about watching it in theaters, liked catching it on On-Demand though.

I agree, the story was missing something but overall not a bad sci-fi movie.

So, there's a ton of Tom Cruises around, right? The first one she fell in love with died, so she fell in love with the next one she saw? What happens when she sees the next one?

Well technically, she loved the 3rd one in the end that was running around after having it's ass kicked by the 2nd one, right? But really the 2nd one was likely the 2,000,000th one knowwhati'msayin... So there are probably some other ones still running around in other areas, but they probably won't run into them.
