This is the Artisan tuck belt. The buckling section is thinned down to 3/4" and the overlap is tucked into the belt via a slot. Artisan stitching details.
It is both a male and female style.
Your leather threads have encouraged me to tackle the knife sheath I've been wanting to make for the last year. I'm also finishing an owb pancake style holster for my S&W. Keep up the good work, I'm hoping to pick up one of your belts here eventually. I'm blowing to much money on tools and leather right now lol
Just finished a new design for a member here. It is a gauntlet style for his Breitling watch.
Just a mock up with a similar sized Timex I had laying around. It is held in place with post screws once he gets it to mount to his watch. The gauntlet is made from 4-5oz veg tanned tooling hide and the 2-3oz Bison watch straps are stitched with synthetic sinew. The edging is diamond punched with double needle borderline stitching. And a double snap retaining clasp.
This one is a present I made for my Grandpa, is uses a 4-5oz strap with a 1.5oz pig leather to hold the watch to the band. The band is slotted and the pig leather is looped through underneath. Then double needle stitched and held in place with the snaps.
The smile and tears made it worth everything to me.
They get stiffer with a bit of sun, just let it set outside for 30 minutes if you want it like that. and post up pictures! I want to add customer pictures to my facebook page!
Its.... AWESOME. I thought it would be stiffer than it is, but its quite supple, but rugged as well. The fit is perfect, and it looks GREAT! I got a compliment from my area manager today when I walked into work!
