Really think so? It's not the best skate shoe, but it's also not the worst IMO.

In my opinion from experience the worst skate shoe I've ever skated is the blazer. They have no board feel, it felt like my feet we're always in the wrong position.

I got a pair of accel's when sole tech re-released the 4 or 5 years ago. Jesus they look huge, don't remember them being that big. Sold them after skating them once, they looked so goofy (pants are too tight I guess).

While I don't really like skating janoskis, they're not terrible. I just don't like how thin the sole is (but for an everyday shoe they're sick). I agree, blazers are awful
