    Yes.

People who say no need to wake the fuck up and get what they need.

And anyone on this forum, pissing time away talking about cars, is clearly having their needs met.

    /soapbox.

made it to somewhere between esteem and belonging, with an occasional dip into safety or.. eek, physiological.

    Most definitely not.

But at least my basic survival needs are being met.

Don't know if this is #1 or not, but congrats! If it is #1, just know that the first year is really tough. For me, it was a going from getting 100% of the wife's attention to...maybe 60%, and she was trying hard. BTW, I think you're one of the funniest guys on here.

    You have PM

It sucks and its not for the faint of heart and mind. We have our moments of why the fuck are we doing this, but we have a mutual trust. I dont care what she does so long as there is nothing going on behind my back and she is the same with me. We have been together too long, been though too much, and built too much to throw it all away over 1 night of hanky panky

Communication is the key to it, just like any relationship you have to talk and communicate and with a long distance situation its that much more critical, to devote the time to it MAKE time for it. The physical stuff is hard to get past but after about 8-10 weeks (for me anyway little woman goes kinda nutty from 6-8 and then again about 16-18 week mark) you dont worry about that so much so long as the rest of things are still going well.

Nope. Being single/divorced kinda does that to ya.

On the other hand, yes. I have a roof over my head, some income, and food.

Which level of Maslow hierarchy are we talking about here? Physiological?
Then yes, for the most part.

First trimester of kid #2, so not really. Wife has 0 drive. She is aware of it and graciously gives BJ's. Nevermind, it's not that bad.
