The online sites will fuck you over if you use to much of a paper. My roomie found out the hard way.

And what are all you sallies bitching about, like every one of you reads every single word of every reading. Fuck it man, your not going to remember 90% of ths shit you pay out the ass to learn in college anyway. Your just paying for a diploma that you can put on a resume.

maybe if you take stupid liberal art classes, but some people can learn practical and useful information that will help them later in life

not everyone is a sociology, marketing, or economics major.

and who pays to go to college? weak. if you are smart enough, they ought to be paying you ;)

But all the hot chicks are in those classes, dumbass!

not everyone is a sociology, marketing, or economics major.
I was a Sociology major - along with a bunch of hot chicks.

QFT. I got enough $$ to pay tuition, books, rent and still have some left for about half my booze and food budget.

soc is only good if you are just taking it to get into the plumbing academy. same with econ. alone.... lacking any real use otherwise

if you don't like what you are in school for, change majors or drop out. experience and applicable knowledge is what pays. "interesting" but irrelevant classes are pretty worthless. everyone is taking thinking majors these days, but we'll still need technical workers and actual plumbers

I am a Professional Plumber. I actually had a decent HR job lined up if I decided not to go to plumbing school. But most SOC majors were there getting their MRS degrees, to be sure.

So you saying every single topic youve covered at Purdue in every class perked your interest and will provide you with tons of information later on in life? Give me a break.

Second, while I agree on Soc and Philosphy and all the other bullshit the hot chicks at my school take, econ is useful no matter how you cut it. Globalization is the wave of the future, so you still need us econ majors. I like to supplement my 2 econ courses a semester with some bogus soc classes to pad the GPA and talk to girls. Im planning on getting an MBA anyways, so I just care about keeping my GPA above 3.5.

hell no. i hate most my classes, but they do teach me some stuff i need to know, and some stuff i can and have been using (interning).

and i was half bullshitting on your major for the hell of it. yeah, econ is important, and i'm minoring in it, but purdue's econ major is sorta waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles shit and more business courses could help. could be not just how economies work, but how to apply it to business and be useful. Pure econ alone.... might need some help. (MBAs help, but most like work experience before you go. So be hirable)

mgmt is packed with girls. i love it. engineers are envious. there's like 10 people with lazy eyes in my physics class, and 2 chicks.

Woh wait a minute. Hot chicks take philosophy at your school? Which school is this?
I'm a 3rd year Philosophy student, and I can probably count the number of hot chicks using one hand.

In my school, it's all about Psychology. All the hotties take Psyc. All the rich ditzy ones who don't know what they are doing with their life take Psyc because it's popular, not to mention everything is easy (ie. all multiple choice, and vastly to do with simple common sense).

As for downloading essays and what not - I did it in highschool too. Copy + paste was the best thing ever. If you are cheating on essays, make sure you re-word a few things, and also add an opinion or two of your two.

Yes, but when you are majoring with them, they have to study with you a lot and work on projects that take all night and it opens up so many doors . . .

But, Heeter would probably just say they were fat anyway.

I agree with more real world applications. My micro course was completely useless. Sure I now know the calculus behind everything, but exactly what it will apply to later on in life Im still up in the air about. I think I made the mistake of not making my mind up early enough in high school and went liberal arts. Big mistake although it has made making the varsity drinking team alot easier. I cant believe the garbage I wasted like 8 credits on in classes like Musics of the World and whatnot, just to meet graduation requirements. Eh well....

And no need in wasting a major just to get laid, I can bag my own bitches ;)

This is just on the side stuff - like fish in a barrel. My Business major and Engineering friends were having to try so much harder.
