    Mini Obsessions and Collecting Stuff

Sometimes I get mini obsessions. Like a few years ago, for some reason I became obsessed with farm tractors! I started collecting pictures of em in my photobucket and then buying toys and scale models. I also have a strange obsession with glass gars and liquor bottles. The other day I randomly found a small size Grey Goose bottle and was like "f*ck yeah!" I rinsed it out with some bleach and let it dry and am now using if for decoration. I really love the Grey Goose and Belvedere Vodka Bottles. I wish I could make a display similar to those in bars with the lighting illuminating the bottles. I scored a Patron Bottle as well. I wanna fill that one with small sea shells and two colors of beach sand. The Disaronno Bottle is nice too. When ever the wife and I buy a liquor in a cool bottle she will often ask if I wanna keep it for decor. I wish I had a special place to collect a whole gang of em.
Another mini obsession I've developed is tennis racquets. I never played tennis, Just got into watching it this year, always play with tennis balls growing up too. I Just love holding them and swinging them. I love the way the look and the details that set them apart. I check out the local Good Will Super store or other thrift shops and pick em up for 2-3 bucks, which is crazy considering I've seen new ones at Wal-Mart for almost 100 bucks.

I've also recently started going around getting old National Geographic mags and cutting out the auto ads out of em. I scored some Nat Geo mags form the early 70's

Are there any mini obsessions you guys/girls have?

I used to get really geeky about watches, but have an E30 again and only so much money. That said, here's a desk clock I made out of a Volvo 240 dash clock. One of my best friends found it in a junkyard and knew I'd like it, first car was a 245. I won't admit to how many hours I have into it, but I love having it in my office and it keeps great time.

Matchbox cars, Legos, and shot glasses.

I'll still pick up some every now and then, but I don't go out of my way anymore to get these things.

i'm obsessed with M20s and e30s. but i was obsessed with Legos as a kid, then Couter-Strike, then WoW, and now spending all my money on cars. But that's exacerbated by spending 7 hours a day on R3v.
                    Much wow

I buy expensive tools (usually discounted somewhere) and then am afraid to use them for getting damaged. Not because of the price, but because of their mechanical perfection.

OP is a hoarder. Fusion doesn't make sense. You are afraid to use a mechanically perfect tool because you are afraid you will break it? Use it as intended and a perfect tool will never break. So much win in this thread.
