Well if you don't catch anything, then you shouldn't call yourself of fisherman.

Try and handline a 200lb. yellow (tuna) and tell me that aint a good time. I've never fished in fresh water, so all those bass shows on TV (and the vid) look pretty gay, so I can understand how lame everyone thinks that is. Pick on something your own size (or bigger) and that's real fishing.

Seeing how I'm a wakeboarder, with my wakeboard boat, my wakeboards, my boom-boom music (<-- Long story), we just clash. About 99% of fishermen at the local lakes are just assholes. That other 1% are totally cool people.

There are no wake zones they can go fish in, but nope, they sit right were you want to ride, I had a $130 carbon fiber handle run over, they somehow manage to take up all three lanes while launching thier boats, they start fights (gumpy old men) and not with just wakeboarders, but everyone and the list just goes on and on.

I could go on all day on this subject but I'm going to stop here, for now :p

Fair enough. I've never seen a lake, and aside from a pool (I despise pools and NEVER swim in them anymore) I've only swam in the ocean, where there's more than enough room for everyone.

Got me a man made golf course lake. Used to fish in it all the time up until I had less and less free time. Fresh water cat fish, large mouth bass, small mouth bass, blue gill. Some big fish in it, caught me some fierce cat fish in it.

i wakeboard too, and really the only fishers i have problems with are semi- to homeless (being PC and saying PEOPLE (that aren't white)), somehow find their way from their apartments/other and like to throw their lines across our channel... then get pissed off when we run over their lines...


most fishermen w/ boats around here stick to the bays/ keep to the sides of the lakes.


only thing that really pisses me off is crab traps that float to the middle of a channel or that are placed out of the shallows.

Ha! I grew up spending summers at the Jersey shore, and it'd take $100+ in gas just to get to the ocean and back.
