    United Kingdom shipping help?

I am trying to find out how much shipping would be from the UK to the US. I am using the rates option in fedex.com but it wants and postal code or zip code and I have been searching and pluging different ones in and it always comes up with an error. Anyone have suggestions or know a postal/zip code for UK?

    Thanks

Thanks, I just tried and what I am looking at would be like 105-200 dollars to ship, do you think this is low or high? I am looking at a M-tech front and rear bumper.
      Thanks

sounds like quite a range, $105 sounds way cheap though to ship all that....

I know of a person on here who got a package deal on a complete mtech II kit. All in all shipping for the complete kit was over 600 USD from England but it only took 2 days to get to him. 105-200 sounds REAL cheap for the biggest parts of that kit.

Did you enter ACCURATE dimensions?? Size makes a HUGE difference here. Also, are you sure that quote was in US$ and not British Pounds??

Does anyone have a clue (estimate) how big the box would be? I said that the box would be 40 lbs, 7 feet long, 4 ft wide, 2.5 ft tall. The items would be the front and rear part of the kit, no sides. Am I guessing on the size, does it weigh more the 40 lbs?

The rear bumper and valance weighs 40lbs alone I'd guess. Its HEAVY.... remember.... its the whole bumper. I'd guess it to be more along the lines of 60-70lbs

Something's wrong- they don't normally take things that are the size you listed- OR they would charge a HUGE "oversize" charge. Besides that, there's no way the bumper is 7 ft long.......

Go out to your car and measure your US bumper width, then measure how far it is from each corner of the car to the wheel well to estimate the side length.

                            BWAHHAHHAHAHA

sorry man- It had to be too good to be true.

Best bet would be to find a friend of a friend who works for a "freight forwarder".

I would expect to pay ~$200 to ship that stuff within the US, much more from UK to US....

I was just over estimating so I don't get a low ass number to get my hopes up but I obviously didn't recieve that on my last one
