Got off lucky. Still a great way to ruin your day. Years back a friend of mine fell riding BMX, his peg smashed him in the nose. When I got to him to see if he was ok, he rolled over and his nose flopped onto his cheek, was held on by maybe an inch of skin. 350+ stitches and a few surgeries later he looks pretty normal again. Still sucks, but Brandon hit it cleanly: could've been way worse. Count your blessings. Doesn't kill ya makes you stronger (or in your case, smarter and you won't leave saws in high places)
