Am I getting scammed?

Im new to buying thing online and wanted some expert opinions on this, I bought these E21 front euro bumper corners from this guy through ebay messages and paypal, not through Ebay. He messaged me that he had these parts and told me the price and his paypal, $140 plus shipping, I sent him the money through paypal, not as a gift. I even added extra for paypal tax. well a few days later he put up the same parts on ebay with the same pictures, http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E21-Euro...e923cb&vxp=mtr
I ask him where the tracking number is and whats the deal with these parts he says he has a couple extra, I believe him. This is the part that has me worried I check up on shipping and the last update was from October 27th. Anybody know whats up is this just a normal thing with usps tracking?

Somewhat normal. It happens sometimes where you won't get an update until after it's already delivered.

The fact that it has been processed through the sort facility places SOMETHING in USPS hands. It's possible that he gave you a tracking number for something else entirely.

Be patient, if too much time goes on. Paypal protection GO!

USPS's tracking system doesn't update as much as UPS or FedEx, so I wouldn't be worried. Plus if you don't get it in an allotted time, file a PayPal claim.

USPS sucks a fat one. Worst tracking ever .. Its typically delivered before updated as stated. At least you used your head and didnt send a s gift so youre safe if something does happen

Also using the same pictures indicates either what he sent you isn't exactly as pictured or what he is going to send the next person isn't exactly as pictured, not necessarily against the rules, but shady nonetheless.

In regards to the tracing update, USPS tracking usually sucks, I have had it not update until after the item was delivered before.

Going to chime in with others and says yes USPS tracking sucks, but so far(crosses fingers) haven't had the same problem. Most packages sent through them for me update every couple days.

Or your package may be lost. If the expected date is due, I suggest you call USPS.

USPS tracking only updates when the parcel goes to the next point of delivery and gets logged . Happens to me here all the time. Usually i'll get the parcel delivered to me before the USPS site shows the complete tracking trail. Give it a few days and see what happens , otherwise call them and ask the status of the package
