Fuck Usps

So i shipped out my M-tech II door panels 2 weeks ago. The guy said he never received it. I keep telling him that I shipped it. But I check the tracking number on their website and nothing comes up as if it wasn't even there. I have no idea and now the fuckin guy is filling out a complaint and my paypal is now -$250

I have the receipt on me, but there is nothing they can do. What the fuck do i do? What, on the usps receipt, is the fuckin tracking number? there are like 10 numbers on this receipt and none of them are working!

Can you get your parts back? If you can get your parts back get a refund on the shipping and ship them fed ex or something better.
If you can't get your parts back hold out and keep bitching at usps until they do something about it. Insurance?

I believe so. They might have a standard $100 insurance but I am not sure.

somewhat of a grey area here. really, if he wanted insurance on the package he could have paid for it rite? its really all up to yer morals on this one.

Pretty much. I used to work in a post office branch. They offer insurance for a reason, and whe you don't get it on a parcel you are sending, you are pretty much waiving the financial responsibility on their end to ensure that your parcel gets through. On something semi-rare like M-Tech II parts, I'm surprised you didn't get insurance on them. Had you gotten insurance, the person who was to recieve them could file a claim, and get the value for them. If you got Delivery Confirmation, you can file a claim for the parcel being lost, and they will do what they can to locate it. But without insurance on a package, they pretty much can just tell you "shit happens".

basically, it is a government run business so they can say 'shit happens' and it doesnt matter because they dont have to keep a good reputation. thats why i use FedEx or UPS.

ive personally never had a problem with USPS, and they usually ahve the cheapest shipping for smaller items, like 3.85 standard and 5.85 standard flat rate boxes.

the tracking number should be 20 digits long USPS dosn't actualy provide tracking, just delivery confirmation. When ever the guy filed the paypal complaint they should of emailed you asking for proof of shipment, did you give them this number? If you can't provide proof then paypal refunds the buyer his money. I'd go into the USPS location you shipped the package from and ask about it. I had a guy send me an alternator and it ended up getting stuck in the corner by accident and never shipped, he finally went in and a clerk found the package still sitting in the corner.

Alright. this sucks. I appreciate all ur help. It is my own fault considering that i never got insurance or delivery confirmation. This will never happen again as i will never use USPS again.
