    Indian scammer called me. *scam

Just got off the phone (cell phone) with a man from an Indian call center
telling me he detected errors from my computer and basically
told me to download teamveiwer to get remote access to my machine.
I was messing with him for a 30min until I told him what was going on.

Gave him a totally non-name name, making small talk about I was watching porn, I had
allot of sensitive government work, I only use this laptop for banking and there's
over 3 million in my bank account ect. Is it ok if I give you my social number?

Anyway, tell your sistor/mom/dad about this scam and tell them to just hang up.

One more thing. After trying to force this guy to say he's calling from Microsoft he denied it
and said it was 3rd party but clearly he was in a
    huge calling center.
Probably works for Microsoft and does this on the side with 300 other Indian employees.
He pretended the call was dropping and was like "hello? hello?" before he gave me this "official" website".
https://www.google.com/#q=winsupport.co.nf <---it's google search, so it's safe to click.

    Same thing as this.

They called me too. I had to tell them 4 times that I don't have a Windows computer before they understood haha.

I read that Ars Technica Article when it came out. I Work for a large tech company that is Microsoft's biggest competitor and I get calls all the time from people who pay the $200 and are told there is a virus or errors on the computer. People are stupid.
