We would be exposed externally and internally. It's not a tin foil hat conspiracy theory, it's reality. If you think you're safe just because we're in 'merika, then enjoy the chaos my friend.

So you're saying that there is no way in hell that the air/water would dilute the radiation like it did on the previous 2k nuclear bombs that have been tested around the world? That some how this time it would be different?

The fact that you're comparing nuclear bombs with nuclear power plant meltdowns proves you don't have a clue. The levels of radiation emitted are hugely incomparable. The amount of ground water we have is finite and dropping at a pretty large rate. Add in hundreds of years of nuclear radiation seep and you don't need to be a rocket surgeon to know that's bad. It won't "dilute" to safe levels.

My comment on America was mostly because the mass population feels we are "safe" because we are developed and civilized. Well, when the structure becomes compromised we'll all see exactly how civilized we are.
