Machinist r3vrs: .ai (.eps) to (.dfx) fomat paths

I need to send some stuff to be plasma cut and I was told to send them a dfx file.
Since I work in Adobe Ill., that's what I'm using as the source. Everything is 100% vector and I'm saving in .eps with 1:1 scale. I used an online coverter to get a pdf first and now the dfx.
Is there anything else I should know?
The only thing that seems weird is that the parts in the pdf look rasterized at 100% view.

And if anyone here works with plasma cutters, are they able to cut 1mm holes? I don't need the parts to be too exact. I would like to cut from 2-3mm steel or stainless. The machine used should be one of these, except 3200W.

You should be able to export to DXF in Illustrator. Don't save the file, export it.

Plasma is going to have a hard time cutting 1mm holes. It will basically just be a pierce point, which will be closer to 2-3mm min. It does vary per machine though. Ask the person with the machine.

Thanks! I didn't notice AI had that feature. The converters in the ehow link didn't work anyways.
I just had a look at the holes and some are .8mm and others 1.2mm.
      The machine specs are:
accuracy (positional variance) ± 0.2 mm
kerf width 0.2 to 0.5 mm

I should've said laser cut, because plasma cutting is slightly different.
The machine should be one of these:

      Damn that thing is fast.

                  Unfortunately M30s are the only ones I couldn't make in the short schedule. But I have M20, M50, M42, S50, S54, S14.

Posted them up in random crap http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show....php?p=3965496

If anyone wants them as Xmas presents, there's a slight chance you could have them at your doorstep Mo/Tu next week (if USPS is working next Tu) if you get your order in today so I can send them out tomorrow. I can't guarantee them being there in time, though I'll do my best and send tracking numbers.

Hey guys I need some input.
I'm thinking about making V8's in the next run. How do ya'll think I they should look? I can either make just two separate 4cyl. or the two gaskets can be connected an then bent slightly into a V. Although they'd be pretty large in that case.
