    General Tech Talk

With Black Friday and Cyber Monday just about over and Christmas around the corner figured it would be a good time to start on some tech talk.

Just got a iPhone 5s as a gift and im not one to complain, but the battery life on a majority of high tier smart phones is just horrible. Just normal usage, surfing, gaming, text whatever i'd be at 50% by noon if I dont take it easy. So I started looking into external battery packs.

    Like Mophie

Anyone have experience with these? A battery case would be more practical , but I like the form factory of the 5s, but cant imagine walking around with a battery pack and cable in my pocket.

On another note any cheap gadgets for stocking stuffers? 20-50$

Oh how I love my G2 lasting two days between charges. Using it heavily.

Battery packs FTW though. They are handy. For you? Kill two birds with one stone. Get an Innokin Itazte MVP.

There are quite a few settings you can change to improve battery life.

I will admit though, my iPhone 5 in it's 2nd year, the battery is noticeably weaker than when I bought it.

Oh damn I havent even thought of that. Vape and charge ftw! If i use my 5s heavily i'll get maybe 5 hours or less out of it. With all the battery saving stuff enabled.

            Same here.

Thinking of upgrading to the 5s but don't really see it as an upgrade. External is the way to go. This gives you the ability to keep it somewhere instead of having a bulky ass phone.

Cant compare since I only have an S, but McKayla not impressed. Does everything I expected it to do. Nothing more or less. I can say I enjoy Touch ID and slomo recording

Well found a Mophie "powerstation" 4000mah on fleabay for 35$ "new - not in retail packaging" Now if its genuine or not who knows, but at 80$ retail I figured I'd give it a shot. I'll post a review when ever it gets here.

I started having the same issue until, I bought a charger cable for work and in the car. Never have any issues anymore and it only cost me like 20 bucks.

I bought the batt pack mostly for piece of mind. Been in situations where car was dead phone was dead middle of nowhere fml. Im pretty out doorsy too and would like the batt life out on the pier fishing.

I just charge mine at work. Download the asus usb driver so that it charges at full umph like when it's plugged into a mac/wall adapter
