Here is the thing. It should be a persons personal choice. Just like a tattoo, or any other body modification. Fact is you are cutting off a part of your sons body, a very personal part, with out any consent from him at all.
My mom is a midwife and deals with this all the time. Some guys feel they want their sons to be just like them. Some guys say its not clean. Some guys say they dont want their sons to be made fun off at school for having the extra skin.
Your son is never going to be you and just because your dick is cut does not mean you get to make that choice for him. It is just as clean as having a circumcision, take a shower or two daily and use soap. Done. If he gets made fun of later on in life or feels women dont like it, he can always have it removed when he is older. No problem.
Would you cut your little girls outer labia off at birth (they do in some countries)? No. So why cut your sons foreskin off?
Im not cut, have never been made fun of, and am always clean. I am happy my dad and mom let me make my own choice and did not cut part of my body off with out asking me.

Why would a forskin cause cancer? Its just extra skin and has no glands or any other extra parts in it? Cancer is the uncontrolled division of cells in a part of your body, so yeah I guess cutting your sons head off at birth will also insure he does not get a brain tumor/cancer. lol

I think the problem is not circumcision, but rather the fact that you are making a choice for some one before they can even let you know if its ok or not.

In all seriousness, the desire to avoid the eventual need to explain to your son why his looks different, at an earlier age than they will likely be ready for the full truth is a strong motivation. Ultimately logic and respect for my sins right to choose won, but at the end of the day, it helped that the hospital did not offer it and classified it as a religious option, of a religion which I do not subscribe. In my opinion, no hospital should offer it, and it should be required to be contacted through a registered religious practitioner, separation of church and state, Obamacare.

BINGO!...that's exactly my thought. Love my pop for doing it No issues here either..and all my boys are getting cut too. Uncircumcised men just making a non issue a big deal, just makes you look insecure about your look. If you don't want that done to your own son, fine, but don't judge other people for wanting that. parents make decisions for infants. they decide you take those vaccinations, have their baby girl's ears pierced no one is screaming about that, list goes on. they don't wait for you to get older to make those decisions

vaccinations have medically compelling reasons. piercings grow in. it is not a "look"- haircuts are a look. it is mutilation.
