But an 06-07 Miata similarly equipped to an 06-07 S2000 were always about $5-6k cheaper. $12-13k vs $17-18k (when in similar condition and mileage).
I woudn't want an NC. I meant that they were way too expensive for the vintage. I'm not going to pay almost 10 grand for a clean not beat up NA/NB. Just a big no no in my eyes. I'm actually really upset because I bought this car and haven't even driven it once this weekend thanks to the shittiest weather the North East can throw at us.:(

I'm not a big fan of the spoon top. The Mugen hardtop looks a 100 times better IMO. I'd buy a S2K in heartbeat if I could fit in it. I'm just too big, I have to tilt my head when I'm sitting in one.

Great car man. An AP1 s2000 is the first thing I will buy once I graduate from College! My dad and I are trying to find himself an AP2 s2000. I love these cars!

Ugh I want one of these so bad, I didn't care for them much until I had the opportunity to drive a friend's. Whether its eco-boxes or roadsters Honda really knows their shit.

                Swap K24 with cams/standalone.
Enjoy S2000 with more HP and more TQ.

This right here. Fortunately I fit in a 2000 just fine.

My dad has had an AP1 with the factory hardtop for quite a few years now and i think he likes it a lot. I may buy it from him when he finally decides to sell.

Here are some more pics as promised! Gave it a good cleaning and a real photoshoot. I'm already hooked and I'm slowly but surely ordering all types of parts for the thing already. Enjoy!

In all seriousness though, fuckit man it looks fun as hell. Enjoy it.

Ofcourse not! Already treated it to some Lowering springs I had laying around. I will be going with KW V3's after the new year.

I think I got mine on 12/10/13. One thing this car does NOT do as well as a BMW is the ride/handling balance. My E36 M3 with 750/950lb coilover springs rides better than my S2000 on fresh stock suspension. When I say "rides better", I mean impacts are more severe in the S2000. Road imperfections and bumps are not absorbed nearly as well by the Honda.
