          what in the heck does "dead" mean? the rear springs have about 1/4" of travel left on them so the the ride should be really smooth.

                      dead meaning he wrote the motor is making a bunch of noise and it needs a new motor, not a small repair. (dead IMO)

                      and an 89 CAN be shipped to the U.S., I should know, sent one a few weeks ago to Michigan. by the time it gets to the U.S. it will be 2014-- so it is 25 y/o.
