Has anyone ever had this touchpad issue?

I got my laptop back from my son who was watching sesame street, and now it seems I can only point with my touchpad unless I have a 2nd finger resting on it. If I don't have a 2nd finger on it, it just does a vertical scroll. The other profile in the computer doesn't have this issue, so its some setting in my profile. Ive been though the ultranav a hundred times and can't find anything. Its like "two finger pointing"
