I have two items that I want out of my way and can't sell them locally. Just wanted to get some suggestions on best/cheapest way to ship them so I can list them on ebay. I have an IX body kit and a set of Recaro seats.

seats: go to uhaul and get 2 garment boxes. drop a piece of 1/2" plywood in the bottom of them. take the head rests off the seats and drop them in each box. lay the head rest on top of the lower seat cushion. all done. i have an account with fed ex and ups. fed ex ground is cheaper. i have shipped a set of sport seats this way to walla walla washington for about 70 bucks.
the ix body kit isn't that big. go to a furniture store and raid some big cardboard boxes out of their dumpster. wrap it up and tape it really good. probably 30-40 bucks for shipping at the very most.sigpic

Also, keep in mind USPS has a charge for boxes that are too large. So usually Fedex/UPS are the way to go with large packages.Comment
