Hi Folks,

I've been trying to get a hold of a YP Business Account Exec but can never get through nor do they return my voicemails. My question is when is the last day to advertise a business in the YP? Any help is appreciated.

I cant help you on a deadline date but the fact you cant get a prompt reply should tell you that the Yellow Pages is dead. Unless your target audience is blue haired old women. There are far better places to spend your advertising dollars

Better to pay Google and have your business pop up first on the search when your keywords are chosen.

Guys, my target audience isn't very technology savvy and the phone book is the place where my business is discovered so in other words no online advertising for me.

This is not the best model going out there, but compared to the yellow pages, yes.

The phone book being dead is so true. In my tourist town of 10k people, there are 5 phonebooks. It got so pointless that the town passed an ordinance that the phone book companies would be charged for littering if they shipped them this year, cause no one used them.

Who do you use for your business phone/internet? Reason I ask is because when I worked for comcast business we would list your company phone number is the white and yellow pages and google maps
