thanks man. i certainly can't take all the credit. his mom has done a good job too. thats another thing: both parents NEED to be on the same page with consistency and discipline. i can't stress it enough. this way you never have to play good cop/bad cop. both of you can just be the kid's parents.

i remember a situation or two where my son didn't get the answer he wanted from his mom, so he came and asked me. i didn't know he asked his mom already, and so i said yes. when i found out he pulled that shit, i nipped it in the bud. he was grounded for two weeks. we never had to worry about that again.

i really think the big thing with raising kids is consistency. this way the kid won't get his way too often but at least he knows what to expect and also to expect not to get away with bullshit that kids always try to pull.

once parked in a parking lot by a steel cargo container (I think extra storage for some place). Old man washing his car behind it for some reason. 2 ways around the thing I blocked one to watch 2 entrances for a tow truck that was coming. All of a sudden the old man who saw me sitting there for a good half hour comes right up to the passenger door with his car and starts yelling at me to move. Yelled back for him to go out the other way.
He starts inching forward as to hit my car (i'm in my fucking M3) so I say "WTF, go around" and wave my arms signaling like a circle "go Around". He keeps inching towards my car. Finally I'm like WTF and have to start my car and back up a bit to let him through so he doesn't fuck my shit up. As he drives by I said "suck a dick, waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles" he stops backs up and says "what did you say?" I replied "suck a dick, waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles". He then just drove off to go live in his hotel room apartment.

Did you read my post? I said I left enough room to get in, and that the normal parking areas are blocked off for snow removal.

The authorized spots for visitors is closed off december through march for snow removal. I parked in front of my grandmas garage, so if anything, the spot I was in was the authorized spot.

Edit- I guess I never explained the parking situation at my grandmas place. Basically, every condo has a garage, but a lot of residents have more than one car. So because of this, almost all visitor spots are taken by residents. In the winter, we loose over half of the parking due to snow removal, so there isn't even enough spots for residents.

Then she cuts me off again and i slam on my brakes anti lock a bit of tire smoke then we both stop at a red light. Husband comes out of the car screaming at me, I just have a smirk on my face sitting in my car. Just Pisses him off more he tells me to get out of the car. I keep a mag lite in my back seat just for these situations. Plus I'm 6'3" with pretty broad shoulders. I stand outside of my car holding my mag light and tell him to either swing first and see what happens or stop being a dumb ass and get back in his car. He got back in his car and flipped me off once he did. Some people man...

um, thats a pretty douchey thing to do. from start to finish. Why wouldn't you just let it go and realize people are dumb and make bad judgement calls? Instead you put yourself, them, and others at risk by acting the fool and exiting your car with a maglite? in Atlanta you run the risk of getting shot puling a move like that. Especially when you exit your vehicle with a weapon, yes a maglite can be construed as an act of aggression. But it's cool, you're 6'3" with broad shoulders, that will stop someone from absolutely kicking the shit out of you for acting like a child with a drivers license.

Haha true it was like heat of the moment rage and when she cut me off initially it almost caused an accident I'm talking like a foot maybe two of her being close to me followed by her hitting the brakes. Plus I was 17 at the time didn't know any better thought I was a lot tougher than I actually was hahaha. Oh the good times of high school.
