But I've also been to enough car shows to know it's not just BMW kids. There's dumbasses in all car club activities

Join the BMWCCA the local LA chapter has the type of people and respect you are looking for. Also SoCal Vintage (LA based) holds some great cruises and an incredible show every fall that beats the pants off bimmerfest
