How else do you think we could impeach a president for getting head, whilst the country is doing better than in 30 years, but with this fuck-up Bush here and his plethora of much more questionable (at best) activites, no one lifts a finger. Im not saying he needs to be impeached by any means. I think its not an option in either case, though. But its just rediculous. Its all in the P.R. people and the way things are handled and spun to the public. ANd it doesnt help that no one in this country does ANY of their own research into ANYTHING. Thats just easy pickins for anyone whose trying to sway them one way or the other. Everyones full of shit. YOU just need to make sure youre not one of the people who cant think for themselves. i think there are some people here who are racist, but noones making a thread about them.

i have a decent amount of black friends, and i see them get the short end of the stick pretty regularly. not always consciesly, sometimes its just embedded. in the society, individual, whatever

It started with him getting head. Lets be in the real world now. It all started there. Bush would do the same thing (as would all politicians of both ruling parties) if he was asked about his role in various things, it just hasnt even been taken that far.

Rappers are generally not very intellegent at all. They don't become famous because of their political ideas and facinating insights into society, they become famous because they can sell. I'll listen to the stuff, but I don't put stock in a damn thing they say. A vast majority of it is so stupid it's laughable.

I guess I'll give credit to Kanye for at least having political ideas. But I have strong dislikes for anybody who subscribes to extreme political views. I don't much like people who allign themselves completely with political parties either.

There is a school of though that says a President's success in most fields depends upon what the previous Head of State left him with. Not to say that George W. Bush isn't a giant fuck-up by himself, but the idea that Bill Clinton brought us our economy around on his own is being a bit nearsighted.

Back on topic... I dislike that many celebrities find the need to inform us of their political views when they have their moment in the spotlight. They have most likely earned their time in the media due to acting, music, or just being a wanker, which is their career, not politics.

Of course, there are exceptions like The Governator and such, but in general, I dislike anything that sounds like a political statement coming from a celebrity with a self-appointed political agenda.
