Wtf is "Trick it out" on mtv??

I watched a couple episodes of this show... I dont get it.

Its like, pimp my ride, but even more worthless. Two teams get some crappy honda and they have to do something to it.

I think I can save everyone at MTV with all their car shows a lot of time and money, considering how every show is the same

"Ok we are going to lower it so its undriveable, 20" chrome rims, as many LCDs as possible, an ugly body kit, and paint it some obnoxious color"

There show over within 7 seconds.

Just when I thought rice couldnt get any more mainstream, MTV comes out with yet another terrible show.

When will this rice fade wear out???

Also, whats really funny. Is they get two weeks to do a car, and both cars always have unfinished projects, and they complain about not enough time.

Well, Overhaulin' has always gotten their cars done in 1 week, with EVERYTHING finished. Except for one episode, it took 8 days.

I guess this is a ture ricer mentality show.

I'd rather see them do something challenging, like an old-ass rusted up Datsun. There's a challenge.

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

did antbody see the episode of Overhaulin' where they went to West Coast Customs for the paint job? The West Coast Customs guys said they were done pimping rides, they even made fun of themselves by pretending to put a huge aquarium in the back of the car they were overhauling.

it's so funny..... I woudn't be surprised if they used some shittly wooded sheets and drilled holes in the body of a car, and then just nailed the wood the the body w/ the nail just hammered like a hook on the other side, so the wooden sheed wouldn't slide off.... that's some custom fab rwight dere! and leave the engine intact.. just clean it w/ some water.... and paint it purple!

P.S. i'm not sure how to call properly wooded sheets in english... but you know what i'm saying....

I think its funny how people just work on new cars, they dont even know what a siezed bolt is... Go work on a 20+ year old car, there will be lots of surprises.

Has anybody seen "Trick my Truck" on CMT? It is like "Pimp my Ride" but with big rigs. I have only seen one episode but it looks half decent. They don't really add ridiculous shit to the trucks like they did with the cars in "Pimp my Ride".

I've seen it. Not bad actually. The guys are goofy but there work appears to be good. I saw a the show where they put a fp in the cab and sprayed an amp to look like wood. Not something I would come in to the house for but hey I would tivo it.

                        Real bad news!

Although pop culture has it's share of off the wall stuff it is also true that it has been the basis of just about every styling innovation since WWII. Ultimately all you can say is that you don't like a particular manisfestation. But we all love the game. After all, where does the word "mod" come from anyway. Actually I look to see what the best looking women ride in.
Well,I am glad it's not those pimped out trucks.

Too much work. They just call up a dealership for a new car.

The result would probably have to be hot as shit too... unless they manage to rice it out too.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.
