Anyone hear about a $50k Prize for a "Cannonball Run"?

Saw this video from the Smoking Tire, and just lol'd at the guy who is putting it together.

The guy calls himself "Colonel" and claims he's not a U.S. Citizen but speaks hick pretty well. His personal phone number is up there, so maybe someone on here should give him a call?

if someone could embed the video it would be much appreciated.

That's what makes me laugh, he says that it's his constitutional right to do this? and he thinks a $50k prize won't encourage people to speed across the country? and the fact that all this money to register is going straight to his front door? SCAM SCAM SCAM.

Plus he wants to make a reality tv show out of this and have people put GPS units in their cars? I don't know how drunk he was when he came up with an idea like this and thought it would be a good idea. Because apparently he makes his own moonshine.

Honestly, if it wasn't public or anything, it would be fucking sweet though, wouldn't it? Think of the Gumball rallies they do. Even with the cops on them every year (cause it's a public event) half of those idiots still race in their supercars incredibly fast and get away with it...

*Disclaimer: I do not support dangerous driving on public roads and endangering others, I'm just thinking it could be done.

If you go on the smoking tires YouTube you'll see he has a day by day video of the bullrun from NYC to Vegas. Pretty entertaining.

Yea no one would be suspicious that you arrived in 3 hours and your car is as clean as a whistle. I wouldnt have the nads to do a cross country rally though. If I was just to ride along sure, but it would have to be with a driver I trust my life with.

Is there anything strictly unconstitutional about speeding? Let me check.... nope. Just have to obey all state and local laws. But the Feds can't indict you for speeding.

If you drive behind a dump truck full of gravel before entering the race, nobody is going to notice you didn't pick up any new rock chips on the way. Then just set up a mud puddle and drive your car through it a few times before you show up at the finish. Critical thinking bruh, use it.

I just thought it was funny because he said it randomly like he's been planning out for awhile just to say that. The entire situation to me is hilarious, and he's shut down his website, tried to pull it up last night and got a 404 error
