I'm so sick of this winter. I wouldn't trade the cold for an earthquake or hurricane though. Snow and 32* is one thing. All of this ice and -20 and less can piss off. In the summer I will be bitching because its to hot and my beer is warm so I'm just screwed.

This winter has been unreal, I bet there will still be snow on the ground in June. The merciless cold and lack of sun is turning me into a zombie. Thankfully the old m10 roars to life every cold, dark and miserable morning. Hoping to replace it with a s52 this weekend, though...

dont forget that the great lakes have frooze over for the first time something like 20 years. They say it will be August before Superior can be swam in, just in time for it to start cooling off for another nasty winter.

and actually once it starts to warm up the snow melts quite fast. the larger snowbanks will last obviously but our yards will be bare

I like the look of Vancouver (coming from a Seattle resident). Drive a bit north and you'll see some of the best scenery around.

Very true.
Take a trip up the "Sea to Sky" highway, up to whistler, and it really is phenomenal. This from someone who lives here and takes it for granted. I still get a shit eating grin on my face every time I round the corner, heading onto that highway. Ocean on one side with mountains sticking out of it, mountains on your other side, and open sweeping turns in front of you.

Too bad about the traffic though.
