    Car Lift Thread

Im currently renting out garage space with a friend, and the lease is up in about a year. However, we have been repairing a lot of friend's and clients vehicles, along with a few projects of our own. Its getting to the point that a lift is almost necessary, and would pay for itself.

Since we only have a 1 year lease signed, and this is more or less our "on the side for beer money/fun" past time, we arent looking to spend a ton on a lift.

At work, we have the typical rotary, and we have a nussbaum scissor lift, which actually isnt too bad for tranny clearances and under chassis repairs.

Are there any scissor lifts that any of you guys can recommend that has decent underbelly clearance? Most of the ones I have seen besides the nussbaum have pistons and whatnot in the way, rendering the lift only useful for hub related repairs.

PS: The roof in our space isnt the highest, so thats why we are seeking a scissor lift.
