Tested out version 11 in the new 5308 vista build... I'll stick with I.E.
I'm not fond of the firefox download manager, its similar to that of netscapes, which I didn't like either... Thats my biggest grief... Otherwise I havn't been able to justify changing.
and until Microsoft decides to allow you to customize the build browser in visual studio (which I doubt they will do), it looks like I'll continue to use I.E. to test my asp projects.
I'm downloading it right now. There's a lot of things I love about FireFox, but there's also a lot of things I don't like about it. I've known for a long time that IE7 was going to use tabs, which is the biggest reason I've been waiting for it.
I thought Firefox was where you put a small dog-like creature in a cannon and shot it across a field...
Could someone please explain (in layman's terms) what Firefox is? I take it it is an operating program similar to Windohs?
FireFox is a browser based on Netscape architecture, an alternative to Internet Explorer.
Does anyone know how to make it so when you open a new tab in IE7, it doesn't go to a blank page, but you your homepage?
Another thing that's pissing me off about it, when I put in my search criteria and it looks up whatever I'm looking up, and I go through a few pages of results, I can't go back to the main page of Google or back to the last results page I was on by hitting the back button on my mouse, or the one in the browser. I have to redirect the browser back to Google, and start the search over.
