    Internet Explorer 7.0

Is anyone trying it out? I just installed it myself and functionality wise it is a huge improvement. I like the tabs system they got out of Mozilla.

Tested out version 11 in the new 5308 vista build... I'll stick with I.E.

I'm not fond of the firefox download manager, its similar to that of netscapes, which I didn't like either... Thats my biggest grief... Otherwise I havn't been able to justify changing.

and until Microsoft decides to allow you to customize the build browser in visual studio (which I doubt they will do), it looks like I'll continue to use I.E. to test my asp projects.

I'm downloading it right now. There's a lot of things I love about FireFox, but there's also a lot of things I don't like about it. I've known for a long time that IE7 was going to use tabs, which is the biggest reason I've been waiting for it.

I love the layout of mozilla, and the tabbed browsing and the toolbars.

Firefox always, no matter how many features IE copys.

The only thing I miss right now is the bookmarks toolbar that Firefox has at the top, I used that quite a bit. Is that function available with IE7?

Whoa, ok I'm really not up with this stuff....

I thought Firefox was where you put a small dog-like creature in a cannon and shot it across a field...

Could someone please explain (in layman's terms) what Firefox is? I take it it is an operating program similar to Windohs?

FireFox is a browser based on Netscape architecture, an alternative to Internet Explorer.

Does anyone know how to make it so when you open a new tab in IE7, it doesn't go to a blank page, but you your homepage?

Another thing that's pissing me off about it, when I put in my search criteria and it looks up whatever I'm looking up, and I go through a few pages of results, I can't go back to the main page of Google or back to the last results page I was on by hitting the back button on my mouse, or the one in the browser. I have to redirect the browser back to Google, and start the search over.
