friend just called company, and lady in the hr office said that they don't test hair, but if they did that "they can pull it from other places" ..but friend already knew that.

I think he is going wayyyy overkill now. If this isn't a job that requires a high security clearance or involves some CIA or FBI type of shit, chances are they will not hair test him.

Actually, more and more companies are screening through hair now.
It goes back like 90 days and is much harder to pass if you've been doin the dirty as Sina's homie has apparently been up to :p

Update on my friend's situation!

Friend found out that the drug test will be approximately 4 weeks from now.
Friend has not toked up for almost 3 weeks now. Friend also buzzed his head yesterday.

Drug test will most likely be a urine test, for which he is probably clean by now.
However, friend wants to also make sure that his hair is clean in the event that it turned out to be a hair folicle test.

Is friend in the clear with freshly buzzed head, assuming he gives it another buzz in 3 weeks?

Kinda suspicious to show up with buzzed head imho. But generally if you are flushing a lot, 4 weeks is the min time it takes for thc to clear the system.

Keep exercising/sweating a lot every day, that burns out the THC from your fat. But stop 2 days before the test since you don't want to bring anything out that will leave your body during the piss test!
Right before the test drink a LOT of water to dilute your urine, and take a B vitamin pill to make your piss yellow instead of transparent, which would raise a flag.

Also, check out the terms of the test, most of them should allow for a second test in case you fail the first one, which gives you more time to cleanse. (Read: don't go and smoke a bowl right after your test, and before you know you passed)
