That's crazy you should bring all that up. Sometimes her tail is curled up (upward, not under her legs) which led me to think that maybe she might have some Chow in her. I looked at the top of her mouth yesterday and there are black spots so maybe this dog is actually exactly what you stated your family has. The girl that gave her to me told me one of her parents was a (Pit), she has webbed feet (Lab) and a usually curled tail with black spots on the ceiling of her mouth (Chow).

Yeah, pretty tripped out. They also have a coat similar to that of a beaver's, it sheds water.....
