GT Academy anyone?

Anybody on here participating in GT6 academy? Although I have grown to hate the GT series due to the fact that they have not improved the key aspects of the game but instead chose to add in new features that, to my belief is unnecessary, I still find the GT academy to be a pretty awesome part of the game.

I don't think I will be able to get as fast a time as the top contenders, there is no reason why I shouldn't try to! I think it is pretty damn fun trying to chase the top time ghost around the track to try and keep up with them. Currently it is in round one, which you use a Nissan Leaf (the car sucks major dick) around the Brands Hatch circuit to try and set the best time in the nation. I believe the best time right now is 1:02.976 compared to my measly 1:04.2xx. It really is challenging trying to drive this piece of shit as fast as you can around the track, but it really does show who has the skill to do it!

I've run some laps, but the best I have manged is a 1:03.7xx. There's at least another 0.2 in there if I could get all the corners right in the same lap. It's crazy how precise the guys at the top are, and I don't want to know how much time they spend on that game.

I can't get a good feel for it with the remote, my best is 1:05 flat.

I brought my time down to 1:03.95x using the DFGT. I wonder if the G27 wheel has a better feel to it because I cannot for the life of me stay completely smooth through my lines.
