So I rear-ended an Acura in my Touring.

Basic gist is I only have liability on the car.

My question, having never gone through this, can I just take it and fix it, or do I need to wait for the bloodsuckers to evaluate and total it?

Liability....your on your own according to my state. Covers the one you hit not your car.

If all you have is liability, my understanding is, there is no reason for them to eval the car because they are not going to pay to fix it.
