Need help with Carfax

I was wondering if anyone can help me with a carfax? If you've read my previous thread I'm having issues with my ex and need to prove that someone wrecked my car. Unfortunately, I don't have the actual date of the accident and I need this to get the police report. Can anyone help out? I just need the date.

I think there's somebody in the Random Crap FS forum that does Autocheck reports for $5, ought to tell you what you need to know. I'll see if I can dig up the thread.
