I had a Galaxy Nexus (basically a Nexus 3) with Verizon. Verizon doesn't carry the Nexus 4 or 5, so when it came time to replace my aging GNex, it was Nexus or Verizon.

I chose a Nexus 5 from Google Play and T-Mobile's $30 unlimited text/unlimited data/100 minutes plan in a heartbeat. I love the phone, the lack of bloatware, the fact that it is unlocked/rooted, and I can make major changes to the phone's firmware without affecting the warranty. I am not sure what I'm going to do if they do away with the Nexus line, as I have loved them so much.

The only way I'm buying another Samsung product is if it is unlocked and by unlocked, I mean bootloader unlocked. My S4 is straight crippled because of the bootloader lock the carriers placed on the phone. I'm hoping google releases a Nexus 6 this year, which I will then get that.

I really just wish they would find an alternative to the fragile glass. I think the nexus 5 by itself, without covers, looks very clean and professional. I hate having to have a case on it but without it I feel like I'm going to try too hard to keep it safe and drop it.

So I got this thing and realized it has wireless charging.

          What do you guys recommend.
The oem one is cool, because it has a magnet on it that basically clips on the phone
and looks like I can even stick it to a wall and the magnet will hold it phone on it. idk.

Then there's this one is also kinda cool because the back is really wide and it could be used with other wireless charging phones.
I can give it as a gift if I get a different phone ect. I could also play with it because it's at an angle.

Any inductive charging plate will charge an inductive phone. Hell, I accidentally set my phone on my nephews skylanders portal (A game for wii), and it somehow charged it. I found it hilarious, and my brother was simply boggled not knowing what an inductive coupling is.

What I'm trying to say is. Go with what fits your bill. Any charger will work. I personally like the lugulake one for my g2, because it's also a battery. I keep it plugged in the pathfinder in my center console which I've wired with a permanent 3 port 4 amp usb, and just set the phone in there to charge. When I need to go, unplug it and away I am. If I need to charge, I still have it.

being unlocked, and especially with all the contract-less plans now, you can shop your plans really easily by both price, and reception. Ultimate flexibility.
I've had many plans, and for the $, I found no comparison to Straighttalk on AT&T.

I have the nexus 4 still, my wife has the nexus 3... updates come directly from google, not the carrier, so less lag time. Also less standard bloat as with cell phone company issued phones. It's hard to beat a nexus for the price.
