So I wanted to make a thread for R3vers (bartenders and drinkers alike) to share their favorite drinks to make and enjoy themselves. Once I'm 18 I'll be going to Bartending school so I can bartend during college, and was wondering what a lot of people like to drink.

Texas law allows people under the age of 21 to drink as long as it's consented and provided by their parents. Also I bartend for a lot of get togethers my family/friends throw, and was just wondering what the r3v world drank.

I looked for one already but couldn't find one. If you could find one that'd be nice.

1.5 vodka, .75 lime, .5 simple syrup, add ginger beer.
muddled cucumber w/ some simple syrup, 1.5 sake, 1.5 sochu, shake, double strain, up.

Either way, fuck bartending school. Work somewhere that will let you barback and move up. Anyone can mix some fucking shit in a tin, shake, and pour but it's the other shit that actually makes you a bartender.

A couple of my buddies went to bartending school. None of them got jobs as bartenders until becoming barbacks for at least a couple of months.
