    Forced Induction Scandanavia

Why, oh why oh why are all the most insane turbo builds in Scandanavia? I mean seriously, what is up with those guys. Too much disposable income? Nothing to do all day? Are they being taught fabrication in Kindergarten? I just wanna know.

Is that standard for them? And also I know that, but in norway we see guys building cars to 35 psi and beyond ya know. Squeezing 1000hp out of the m20 and such.

Their car taxes are huge, especially on higher-displacement older cars, so everyone who's got enough money for one of those is loaded by default.

You also see more of the high-dollar builds over here because those are the only ones that get popular enough to show up in English-language forums.

          This is called selection bias.

I went to Sweden a few years ago just to attend a car show and go to dahlback racing. The level of craftsmanship in their show cars/ track cars/ whatever is on a whole different level.

Yea, that's what I'm talking about. It's almost like they don't do it for fun, rather life or death. Lol

                I would also say:

                Their higher income
Long winters, so you are stuck inside doing something

And yes, Kronus is right, selection bias.
