saki - the true personnally transported/imported stuf, not the weak shit available in US market, that stuff is well over 100 proof, tastes like warm water, soooo smooth. ...most rice derived alcohols are smoother, but average lower alc%, yet are a clean drunk, mostly head feeling, not much of the body effect.

- great when eating koreanBBQ, "Soju" (there's like 5 different 'flavors' - 'Green' is my current choice)
- when eating rare steak, heavy red wines
- when eating medium-well steaks and other beef, BEER - Colorado microbrews, aaaahhhhhhhhh - droooool - porters, stouts, reds
- eating fish or bird, wheat/amber ales, maybe a whitewine or zinfidel for romantic (desperate-to-get-laid) scenarios, LOL....rare enough that its a refreshing moment
- Gin "sapphire bombay" - oh yeah, that's nice on the rocks
- i'm past vodkas for the most part, too many experiences there, good and bad, Rum for me bar shooters now, on occasion Jagermiester
- a local bar at my old college made "strong islands" for killer deal, 2 of those and you were in a happy place, it was like 90% alcohol, the other ingredients were merely for coloring, HAHA
