Introducing... Wii.
As in "we."

While the code-name Revolution expressed our direction, Wii represents the answer. Wii will break down that wall that seperates videogame players from everybody else. Wii will put people more in touch with their gams... and each other. But you're probably asking: What does the name mean?

Wii sounds like "we," wehich emphasizes the console is for everyone. Wii can easily be remembered by people around the world, no matter what language they speak. No confusion. No need to abbreviate. Just Wii.

Wii has a distinctive "ii" spelling that symbolizes both the unique controllers and the image of people playing it. And Wii, as a name and a console, brings something revolutionary to the world of videogames that sets it apart from the crowd.

So that's Wii. But now Nintendo needs you. Because it's really not about you or me. It's about Wii. And together, Wii will change everything.

Not siding one way or the other, but comparing a PS3 to a Wii is pointless. Nintendo has already announced that the Wii will have a slower proccessor and loeer graphics capability. They didn't make it to blow minds with amazing graphics. They made it to go in another dirrection.

The controllers I think will be awesome. Motion sensative FTW. And playing any oldschool Nintendo game? BADASS. Fuck all these new games. I want to play Goldeneye without lagging against people in Asia.

I have a PSP and other then Burnout, the only game I want is GTA so I can run Homebrew applications and emulators to play all my favorite oldschool games. New games are just so over-done they are no longer fun. You have to devote your whole life to them; you can't just pick them up and play for 30 minutes and then stop.
