Definitely looks like decent prospect to mod lightly and simply enjoy. I'll reserve judgement on that exterior until I see it in person.

If it was a coupe, it wouldn't be a Miata. There are some very cool pics of the ND floating around that have already been P-chopped lower and with wheels, looks really awesome then.
If you want a small, fun car with a fixed roof, buy a BRZ. Those cars are awesome.
