What's life like down there? There is a possible job oppurtunity for me down there, and I was wondering what is it like to live down in Florida? I wouldn't know anyone at all. What is there to do? How are the girls? Would I be surrounded by geriatrics, or would there be a good amount of college aged people? Is the car scene anything of note? I guess just generally what should one considering moving to Florida know? Thanks!

Its like anywhere else except hot. Lots of shit hole areas and very nice areas. white belts and blue hair and a 640whp e30 in Davie.. I dont know what the job markets like down there.. If I were young and single Id do it. Pretty soon youll be too tied down to do stuff like that. Just go down there and see what happens.

I lived in Pensacola from '01-'04. The car scene was lively and there were college-age people. Obviously the Navy's training facilities at P'Cola influence both significantly, but there were colleges and such otehrwise.
When Evos first started coming to the US, a lot of the first and highest horsepower ones were coming out of shops on the gulf coast and in Florida.
The roads are wide and straight, so there's always a stop light grand prix going on.

I've lived here all my life and it's not too bad. The weather can't seem to make up it's mind so sometimes, it rains for five minutes every couple hours. I live in Orlando, right next to UCF so there are lots of college aged people around all the time. Everyone sucks at driving, and the roads are never very inspiring to drive.
Neither of my E30s have AC so I get out of the car and my back is completely wet but when moving, it's not too bad.
Only been to Ft. Lauderdale once when I was younger and don't remember much of it but it is one of the nicer parts of Florida if I remember correctly.
I plan to take a road trip next summer so I can see what the rest of the country is like, I sweat too much to live here the rest of my life.

Well, Cleveland, Ohio has something to say about that. Over the years, they've racked up a impressive number of mass murderers that might well trump every other city in the nation. And none of them were motivated by LeBron leaving.
