Backpacking Ansel Adams Wilderness (photos inside)

Just got back from three days trekking through Ansel Adams Wilderness (south of Yosemite in California). Headed out with a buddy and my dog as we backpacked to Ediza Lake and Iceberg Lake. Absolutely gorgeous out there, so I thought I'd share some photos, enjoy!

                Wow - awesome shots!

Would love to hear more about the hike and gear. Doesn't look like you packed very light. Were you on your own for the whole time? (noob camper - just asking)

                I guess I'm officially a ex-Californian by now - but I agree.

Did you come in through the east side or up on the west side by clover meadow? This is pretty much back yard!

Wow that glacier has retreated big time. Most of the Glaciers in North America will be gone they say in 15-20 years if not less.

Cool photos and saying you have been there has to be decent as well. I travel all over the world and most of the time I don't get out of the town or the airport we goto, so bit envious.

Great shots. I need to get back there. And good on you for taking the dog. Mine is over 10 now and can't join me anymore. The spirit is willing, but the flesh (hip, specifically) is weak. It breaks my heart. Cherish these times.

My old dog Enzo had hip problems and still needed to chase the ball. I got a anti-inflammatory from the vet called vetprophen. It really worked great.

And beautiful pics. The beer shots are a bit much.

There are so many more places I need to go still...
