I feel your pain and i am so sorry. :( I had to put down my 15 year old Dashshund Winnie pooh 3 years ago. It feels like yesterday when it happened. It does feel like you lost a child and somebody just ripped your heart out. I couldn't stand being without her,i got another Dashshund within 2 weeks after she passed. It was one of the hardest things in my life having to watch them put her down. You just want them to live forever you know. Just remember all the good times you had with your dog and carry it on to the new one you have now.

One of our dogs loves to howl at sirens. Its great fun. Its great when we are out and about as it always makes me laugh! Its not as much fun when you forget that he (the dog- Cinder),is right behind you perched on the couch and you kinda forget he's there while watching an episode of "Cops" . :)

She could never be replaced. We actually said we weren't gonna get another dog for a while. But it was malnourished and had been treated terribly for all 7 weeks of its life. It was either take him home or to the local vet, and back where we found him they just put stray dogs down right away. We couldn't let that happen.

My dog used to bark In her sleep. It scared the shit out of you when it's 2am and your passed out. That video haha

Well guys. I'm still lost without my puppy she was the greatest. But I came home to a nice surprise today. My parents returned from out of town and came home with this little man

Someone dumped two litters of puppies. The rest disappeared but this one made its way to my grandpas farm. It was impossible for them to leave him.

Dad with my Pit, he was 15 years old and was getting hip dysplasia pretty bad. Didn't get to see him one last time because I couldn't take leave.

I'm sorry for your loss, I have a beloved family dog that is the exact same way, she loves the idea of being a hunting dog, but was always too gun shy. I know she will be gone in the next few years. It's amazing the love dogs offer.

I know how it is... I recently lost a childhood friend too.. I suppose being 17 I'm still a kid but I've had the dog since I first remember pretty much anything.. They all end up in a better place in the end... Last picture I ever took of my dog. Almost 5 months ago but still very fresh in my mind... My condolences go out to you.
