I think this is car that T-boned my Tacoma yesterday.

I found it, it was in the same yard as my Tacoma.
I guess I just needed a little patience.

    Question for the experts:
My truck weighed 3400 pounds, how fast was the Lancer going?
I got out with a few bruises, the air bag did not deploy.
There was damage to the passenger side front wheel from hitting the curb, I know I was spun once possibly twice.
I'm glad it wasn't a direct impact on the door.

Yes, ZX2 Escort. I used to race one in Lemons. They suffer from FWD and weak shift forks in the manual transmissions.

Thanks, the police report said a 2004 Lancer but I never got a good look at it. I'll find out more tomorrow when the yards are open.
This happened Saturday morning on my way to work, he hit the drivers side front quarter.
If I would have been in the Bimmer there would have been a fatality and it wouldn't have been me. http://imgur.com/a/WhbSl

Jesus! Thats a hell of a T-Bone! Launched you a long way and spun you 90 degrees as well. Nice pictorial view of the incident! Well done! This should be an easy win for you to collect on the insurance proceeds. Assuming you are physically alright ?

              glad OP's alright

I had one of those too. Reliable as hell, could not kill the thing. never had problems with the shifter fork etc.
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

I've got a few bruises. I'm still not sure if I spun once or twice before hitting the curb.
I'll see my truck tomorrow and post some pics.
The airbag did not deploy which is probably a good thing.

The officer at the scene told me the other driver was going to be arrested for DUI.
WSP headquarters is about a hundred yards from the scene so the response was immediate.

If you had time to see it coming, why didn't you floor it and get out of the way? Even if you ran a red light to do it, I kinda doubt a cop would ticket you for it. lol

You never took it endurance racing. A broken 3-4 shift fork is what typically took us out of the running. We also blew an engine once, but that is a different story. The shift forks are made of a sintered metal and they don't like being shifted quickly with a little more force than is really needed.

I hope the op's truck gets fixed. I hate getting taken out while sitting still.
