    Why Stomp Test No Work???

I have a '92 e30. The stomp test has never worked for me. Checked the DME - it is a 0 261 200 525 - the latest one installed in the e30s. That is a Montronic 1.3 DME - should support the stomp test. So what gives? Why does the stomp test not work?!?

If ur throttle cable is worn you might not be getting wide open throttle. Have someone turn the key to and open/close the throttle by hand to see if that works

More likely the throttle position switch is fucked. You can test it at the pins on the connector with a multi-meter. Just push the throttle by hand.

yeah, either the TPS is screwed, or you need a different chip/ECU combination (that's the only way I could get it to work on my e30. I have the 173 ECU
