The very last model year of civilian H1's had the Duramax 6.6 turbo diesel instead of the Detroit (?) 6.5 non-turbo... More than double the horsepower stock, with potential for 500 HP and 1200 ftlbs without too much fuss.

i have never been there but they have rules and guidelines about not stoping because they are a big target for rpg's and ambushes.

its pretty hard to judge when you have never been there and experienced that craziness.......

my buddies that served in the calvary say its a whole 'nuther world over there. things you would never think about here are common there.

I had two M1067's (an 87' and an 88') both soft top, one a wagon and one a two door pickup that I was in-charge of state side, they both had 6.2L's. Total pains to start on cold mornings.

Correct, they were merc's in the vid. I partly ran over a station wagon with an MRAP because he wanted to change into my lane (I don't give any waffles). Also correct with no stopping, stopping could end up very bad for us.
