    Bay Area travels.

Going to visit my girlfriend in SF for 6 days in January. Not too much of a city person, want to see beautiful nature and scenery. We have a car we can use. Redwoods of course are a must, but what else should we see? We have about a 350mile radius we can cover, though we can travel more if it's real cool.

Yosemite is definitely on the list! Wouldn't mind camping out there for a night.

Visited friends there in the summer and biking across the golden gate bridge was pretty fun. There was a helicopter going over and under the bridge, which was pretty damn cool from our view.

Make sure to wear shorts, sandals and have the top down while drinking your wine coolers.

Big Sur is a must, cruise south along HWY 1 from SF. The scenery is beautiful.

China Cove in Carmel is beautiful, you can go cliff diving there (not legally). There are also many great hiking trails near china cove that take you along the coast line.

Big Sur is a must. Purple beach is worth checking out.

Monterey is great too but it's a bit foggy and cold.

San Gregorio Beach is nice. Take the drive over Hwy 84 (awesome to drive, keep an eye out for troopers tho) and drive down Hwy 1 on the coastline. Theres a beach every few miles to check out. Nearby is also 4 corners and Alice's restaurant, it's a big meetup spot for bikers.

If you want a good view check out Twin Peaks in SF, it's a bit touristy but for a reason.
