I didn't mean anything by it; I was just genuinely curious. I've never been a football nut, and that always seemed to start some rather... interesting... conversations

That's not to say I don't enjoy getting together for a huge Super Bowl party however

Totally agree, though this need has been fostered by the bulk of that generation living under the "everyone gets a ribbon/trophy" mantra.



I didn't really care who won. Most of my friends were pulling for the Seahawks, and I'm firmly in the "please... not another title for that insufferable fan base" camp (although Seattle's got pretty bad pretty quickly after last year). Either way it was a great game though.

I just dont understand how people can do this..... durning football season its the only thing i watch football and espn. I do watch car racing to go to the nascar races every year. f1 is boring af wheres the wrecks and fights??? gt racing is good and same with rally x

I don't follow fanatically any of the three Boston teams I root for, but I try and watch when it's available. Funny part is I was going to skip watching the game after our last Superbowl loss.

Where I'm from football is everything. So when you hear someone say they don't like or watch football it's like huh? I don't think another state cares as much about there football team then nebraska and the huskers.

Oklahoma is that way too. I was there back in September and that is all the networks covered in Altus that weekend.

Point being that if Nebraska is passionate about football having only one team in a major conference and on the national stage, Alabama is doubly so with two teams.

We only got one team cause there isn't enough People in this state to have a second team haha. We got Crieghton which is only good sometimes in basketball and baseball.
