There were some cheesy parts. Like at the end when wolverine is holding gene greys body and screams out nooooo! I mean come on. Other than that I want to bang the shit out of the chick who can walk through walls, but I cant determine if shes 18.
Agreed on all points. Ellen Page is 19, which means we don't need to feel too creepy. She actually played a 14 year old in her last film which was only last year.
I don't give a shit about comic book-to-movie consistency - I just enjoyed the action. There was without a doubt a shitload of killing.
One thing though...
If there was the supposed "cure" to get rid of the mutant's powers, why did Wolverien kill Gene at the end? Wouldn't it make more sence if instead killing the woman he loves, to just give her a shot of the cure...?

she wouldnt let anything get that close. and the vile wouldnt have survived the force of getting close to her at then end. i was thinkin the same thing when i came up with this conclusion.
