I had the pleasure of going to the Geneva car show about five years ago. It was way awesome and anybody that has the opportunity or is close to it I would suggest strongly you make time and the effort to go. Highly recommended!

I had a feeling that when they came out with a hybrid it would blow the doors off anything else. What I'm curious about is how the system works, if you can drive full electric, plug it in, how regeneration works and stuff

That's what happens when you charge 7 figures for a vehicle, the engineers can do what they want.

Interesting, I recall an interview I watched with Christian von Koeniggsegg where he said he admired all-electric cars and all-gas cars, but didn't believe the hybrid was a smart mix of technology.


I guess the P1, 918 Spyder, LaFerrari, and to a lesser extent the new NSX must have changed his mind.

Maybe their system is going to be more like the i3 with range extender then than a Prius I'd presume - ie. hybrid, but basically an electric.

Honestly I can't see it that way. Probably more like the aforementioned supercars.. electric providing instant torque that supplements a high revving n/a or boosted engine.
